PRESIDENT RENEWS ATTEMPT TO END DEADLOCK Kathmandu, 30 Jan.: President Dr.. Ram Baran Yadav Wednesday renewed his abandoned effort for find a consensus between parties in and out of government to hold constituent assembly (CA) elections in April/May. The effort came as parties move on a collision course before which the president had given up efforts to build consensus nine times without success. Dr.Yadav began consultations Wednesday first with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarat and separately with leaders of NC, UML and a coalition of Madeshbadi leaders in government.
