Kathmandu, 3 Jan.: Main opposition NC Thursday boycotted talks with
Maoists to discuss the latter’s suggestion for a neutral prime minister
to succeed Baburam Bhattarai..
But another opposite party joined the talks with Chairman Prachanda and
Amik Serchan; Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and former Premier Madhav
Kumar Nepal represented UML at the inconclusive talks with Maoists.

INFAMOUS MINISTER KARIMA BEGUM JOINS MJFN
Kathmandu, 3 Jan. Karima Begun of MJFL headed by Deputy Prime
Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar quit the party leveling charges against
the party and leadership.
The former minister immediately joined MJFN of Upendra Yadav.
She gained notoriety and fame for slapping a CDO in the teari during a ministerial visit and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal protected her without taking
action against the minister.
There waas no breatkhtroghin the talks.

INDEFINITE CURFEW SLAPPED ON SINDHULIMADI]
Kathmandu, 3 Jan.: An indefinite curfew was slapped on Sidhulimadi fron
4.30 in the afternoon Thursday following street slashessoon after a prisoner died following a clash in district prison.
The inmate died in the capital where he was transferred for medical
treatment of wounds.
Supporters of the dead prisoner came out on the streets protesting the death.s

UPDATE ARMY, THREE STAR DRAW THEIR FOOTBALL LEAGUE MATCH
Kathmandu, 3 Jan.: Tribhuvan Club of Nepal Army and Three Star Club
played a goalless draw Friday in the martyrs memorial A Division football
league championship.
Friends Cub defeated Jawalakhel 4-0 in another match.
