UPDATE MINOR GIRL ABUSED IN CAPITAL Kathmandu, 3 Jan.:.: two incidents of rapes were reported Thursday—one in Thankot where a six-year-old minor was abused and the other from Damak, Jhapa-- even as government assured to protest women and fight crime gainst females. The suspect from the capital has gone missing and the child has been admitted to hospital for treatment. Four suspects have been arrested in Jhapa and UML came out of the street in protest. The sit-ins for the first time shifted to Singha Durbar as well; most protests were centered around the official residence of the prime minister in Baluwatar. nnnn
