Kathmandu, 5 Jan.: A single bench of the supreme court Friday issued a show cause notice in the name of President Ram Baran Yadav who has repeatedly asked parties to appoint a new prime minister invoking article 38(1)of the interim constitution. The single bench of Justice Damodar Prasad Sharma asked the office of the president to submit the head of state’s clarification within 15 days. The court was responding to a petition of Dilliram Guragain of Morang who challenged the president’s call for a new head of the government. nnnn
