ABDUCTORS ARRESTED IN INDIA Kathmandu, 3 Feb.: The District Police Office Bara has arrested four abductors besides feeding abducted by raiding the Pattarhathi VDC-7 of Bara, RSS reports from Kalaiya. A police team of 45 personnel led by Police Inspector Keshar Bahadur Karki, including Armed Police Force (APF), released Rakeshranjan Singh (40) of Raghopur of Chiraiya Thana in Motihari of India hidden in the house of Janak Sahani of Pattarhathi VDC- 7 at 10:00 pm last night. Those arrested are Janak Sahani (70) of Pattarhathi-7, his son Panchalal Sahani, (23) Shesh Nath Kurmi (33) of Matihani -7 of Parsa and Dinanath Das Tatma (60) of Raxaul, India. Police also impounded their two motorcycles and two sharp-edged weapons. They had abducted him on January 30 while coming to Bhatiarba of Nepal from India. Nnnn ELECTION POSSIBLE ONLY IN NOV. Kathmandu, 3 Feb.: Legal experts say that the fresh Constituent Assembly (CA) elections before November was not possible, RSS reports.. Speaking at an interaction on 'Constitutional Crisis and Necessity of Election', the constitutional experts said fair elections before November was not possible as practical and legal procedures for the election were not formulated yet. During the programme, Former Chief Election Commissioner Bhojraj Pokharel said, "Let's not talk to hold election in May for it is not possible before November." Pokharel said he was not against the election but holding the CA election at a time when there was no environment for election from technical and psychological point of view was not possible. Former Acting Election Commissioner, Nilkantha Upreti, said holding election without making necessary preparation for it was impossible. He questioned that how could the country go for election when there is no environment for printing ballots for the election. Former President of the Constitutional Committee, Nilambar Acharya urged the political parties to go for the election as there was no alternative to it. During the programme, journalist duo Yubaraj Ghimire and Harihar Birahi said the political parties should be aware that if election was held without making necessary preparation for it, the nation would be pushed towards further conflict. nnnn.
