CHIEF JUSTICE PRESENTS ANNUAL REPORT OF SUPREME COURT TO PRESIDENT Kathmandu, 17 Feb.: Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi Sunday didn’t respond to questions asked by waiting reporters at Shital Niwas where he went with apex court colleagues to present to President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav an annual report of the supreme court. The presentation of the report coincided with efforts by major political parties to appoint him head of an election government to conduct constituent assembly elections May/June. Advocate Bharat Jangam Sunday filed a writ at the supreme court to attempt stop Regmi’s appointment. ‘The legislature has been killed.
