NO AGREEMENT OF ELECTION GOVT. LEADERSHIP UPDATE
Kathmandu, 12 Feb. The Big Three and Madeshi morcha in government
failed to agree on leadership of an election government at a meting with NC President Sushil
Koirala.
They briefed President Dr Ram Baran Yadav who urged them to find an
early out to a deadlock.
NC and UML rejected a Maoist controversial call for the leadership of government by an incumbent chief justice to conduct polls in the last week of May.

BIRD FLU SURFACES IN PHARPING AS WELL
Kathmandu, 12 Feb.; Traces of bird flu were detected at a poultry farm in Pharping south of the capital as well Tuesday.
The avian flu was found in four points in four days around the city
outskirts first starting from Jitpurphedi.

EUROPEAN DIPLOMATS HOLD COLLECTIVE DISCUSSIONS
WITH SUSHIL KOIRALA
Kathmandu, 12 Feb. European diplomats based in the capital held collective discussions with NC President Sushil Koirala Tuesday.
They discussed an election government and constituent assembly elections in May.
DiscUssions were held at a time when leaders and parties are attempting an end in a deadlock.
