COMPROMISES
Kathmandu, 16 Feb.: Nepali Congress General Secretary Prakash
Man Singh on Saturday said that the parties should not go beyond the
theory of power separation in the name of giving an outlet to the ongoing
political crisis, RSS reports..
At a programme in the Capital today, Singh said more complexities would be added in the country if power balance between executive and judiciary was not maintained.
Singh also said that the central committee meeting of the Nepali Congress has given responsibility to the party's three top leaders to sit for talks with other parties for forming new government without making compromise in principle and spirit of separation of power.
Singh also stressed that election government under the political leadership would be appropriate in the present context adding that the decision to be taken by the CPN-UML would decide whether or not to form the CJ-led government.
The NC general secretary said that the issue of new government formation would move ahead only after certainty in separation of power in parties' meeting after the UML's decision.
