PRESENT COALITION UNACCEPTABLE TO UML

But, leadership under current Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, and chief coalition partners of the government of the Unified CPN-Maoist, and United Democratic Madhesi Front was not acceptable at any cost, said UML leader Gautam.
Speaking at a press conference organised by Press Chautari Nepal, Rupandehi chapter, he said leadership for the election government from the UCPN-Maoist and UDMF was not acceptable for they have pushed the nation to the current political crisis.
UML leader Gautam said the Nepali Congress had declared party President Sushil Koirala as a candidate for Prime Minister as the UCPN-Maoist urged for the same but the Maoist leaders created obstruction later when other parties forged consensus for NC leader Koirala.
He said there was no alternative to opposition parties of defeating the UCPN-Maoist totalitarianism and urged one and all to join the protests.

MAN KILLED IN BUS PLUNGE INTO RIVER
DHADING: A man died after a mini truck (Na 4 Kha 8933) plunged into Maheshkhola (river) at Thakre VDC Ward No. 3 in Dhading district, along the Prithvi Highway on Friday, RSS reports from Dhading. morning.
Driver Ram Kumar Chaudhary (30) of Jitpur VDC in Bara district died on the spot in the accident.
The truck laden with tomatoes and heading towards Kathmandu from Lalbandi fell around 60 meters from the road into the river after it lost the balance due to over speed, said Sunil Thapa, Sub-Inspector at the Police Post, Mahadevbesi.
A person critically injured in the accident was sent to Kathmandu for treatment, police said.

At a face-to-face programme organised at the Reporters Club Nepal here on Friday, he said no force was used for donations except voluntary donations.
He said Rs. 5,000 from each of the 3,500 representatives and observers was collected and party member levy and cooperation will be mobilized. He also said less would be spent to make it austere.
