TWO KILLED IN ACCIDENT Kathmandu, 22 Feb.:: Two people died and a dozen others were injured in two separate accidents in Saptari, on Friday, RSS reports from Saptari.. Co-driver, Balbahadur Rokka of Triyuga Municipality Ward No. 8, died on the spot while around a dozen people were injured when a bus (Ko 1 Kha 2948) met with an accident at Jandaul VDC Ward No. 9 along the East-West Highway, said police. The bus bound to Gaighat from Dharan met with an accident after it lost balance as it was overtaking a vehicle. Bus driver Bindra Narayan Chaudhary and Mahamaya Bhujel, 80, of Hanspokha VDC Ward No. 2, Sunsari were critically injured in the incident. They have been referred to Biratnagar for treatment after first-aid in Dharmeshwor Hospital, Theliya, police said. Other people injured in the incident are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Similarly, seventy-year-old Jhabarimaya Ale Magar of Rupnagar VDC Ward No. 2 was killed after the car (Na 1Pa 480) knocked her at Kanchanpur, Saptari, along the East-West Highway, police said. The car was heading towards the east from the west. Nnnn GOLD RECOVERS Kathmandu, 22 Feb.:: Price of hallmark gold has reached Rs. 56,300 per tola in the local market on Friday. The price has increased by Rs. 600 per tola as compared to Thursday, RSS reports.. Hallmark gold traded at Rs. 55,700 on Thursday, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (NEGOSIDA). The price of gold has increased today in the Nepali market due to the impact of rise in gold price in the international market. Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs. 15 per tola as compared to Thursday.
