Nnnn LPG PRICE HIKED Kathamandu, 12 Feb.: Nepal Oil Corporation on Tuesday hiked the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to Rs 2,100 from Rs 1,470 per cylinder, The Himalayan Times reports. The fuel monopoly has also decided to implement cylinders of different colours–-red for domestic use and blue for industrial-- from today. NOC's press advisor Puru Risal confirmed the price hike in the cooking gas. As many as 1,290,000 households in the country use the LPG cylinders in their kitchens. Nnnn MAN KILLED IN ROAD ACCIDENT Kathmandu, 12 Feb.: A man died in a road accident at Bhotahiti in Kathmandu on Monday night, RSS reports. The deceased has been identified as Basudev Budhathoki, 54, of Lamatar in Lalitpur district. The accident took place when a car (Ba 8 Cha 3615) hit Budhathoki's motorcycle (Ba 54 Pa 4832) heading towards Jamal from Bhotahiti, according to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division. The Division said that Budhathoki died while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital. Sub-Inspector at the Division, Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, said that the car driver, Kisan Rai, 32, of Kirtipur, was found drunk. The Metropolitan Police Sector, Darbarmarg, arrested him. RSS nnnn
