UPDATE STUDENTS WITHDRAW VALLEY BANDS SUNDAY Kathmandu, 14 Feb.; Students representing 11 student unions Thursday withdraw Sunday’s Valley bandh to protest a Rs,630 hike in LPG which was immediately withdrawn by Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Thursday following intervention of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai. Students said they took the decision after NOC invited them for talks Friday at aaaaan unspecified time and place.. Other protests will continue, student representatives said.
