Kathmandu, 16 Feb.: A eight-member task force comprises Krishna Bahadur Mahara and Khim Lal Devkota from UCPN Maoist, Bimalendra Nidhi and Minendra Rijal from NC, Agni Kharel and
Bhim Rawal from CPN-UML and Hridayesh Tripathi and Jitendra Dev from the ruling Madesh Mocha was formed Saturday evening to form an election government.
The development was seen as a breaaaakthrough..
The body was formed after ruling and opposition party leaders consulted
President Dr..Ram BaranYadav.
The task force will work out details of an election government headed by
Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi amid differences in a 21-party ruling party
alliance to oust the government.

Talking to the media persons in Biratnagar on Saturday, Chairman Baidhya said that his party and some other fringe parties have been protesting the activities that have performed by the major political powers and their leaders as they have been encouraging anti-people activities at the bidding of foreigners.
CPN-Maoist Chairman Baidhya announced that his party would start the nation-wide protests against the anti-national activities of the political parties.
The major political parties have brought the new formula at the signaling of foreigners and tried to confuse the people. He further said, "To hold election in such a way is to lead the nation to fascism."
CPN-Maoist leader Baidhya said his party has stressed on the need of forming the national consensus government removing the government led by Dr Baburam Bhattarai. He added that they have announced the nation-wide protest as the four major political powers have taken the wrong way for the formation of the election government.

ONE KILLED, 31 INJURED IN SURKHET ACCIDENT
Kathmandu, 16 Feb.: A man died and 31 others were injured after a motorcycle (Bhe 2 Pa 6656) and a bus (Na 4 Kha 8592) bound to Nepalgunj from Surkhet met with an accident in Surkhet on Saturday, RSS reports from Surkhet..
Critically, injured motorcyclist Yamlal Acharya, of Jarbuta VDC Ward No. 1 died on the way while he was being taken to Nepalunj for treatment.
In the accident 31 passengers in the bus were injured and five among the injured are undergoing treatment at local Maya Nursing Home whereas other 26 passengers have returned to their home after general treatment, said Bishwa Niranjan Pradhan, Chief Superintendent of the Police at District Police Office.
Police said the bus knocked the motorcycle while it was trying to save the motorcyclist. nnnn
