17 PARTIES ON ANTI-GOVT. PROTESTS
Kathmandu, 2 March: Seven teen parties, more than half represented in
the dissolved parliament, Friday staged street protest demanding ouster of
the Khil Raj Regmi government.
They warned of a poll boycott.
The parties said four parties were using the Regmi government to shield
their shortcomings.

TU ASKS DR. BHAGAWAN KOIRALA TO RESUME WORK AT TUTH
Kathmandu, 22 March: Tribhuvan University executive council council decided not to accpt the resignation tendered by Dr. Bhagwan Koirala
as executive rector of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).
The TU asked Dr. Koirala will resume his responsibilities with assurance to meet demands/
The heart specialist resigned this month charging widespread irregularities.
A signature campaign was launched by staff asking DR. KPirala to withdraw his resignation.
