CONSPIRACIES BEING HATCHED TO FOIL CA POLLS SAYS UPENDRA YADAV Kathmandu, 5 March: Chairman of the Madheshi Janadhikar Forum Nepal, Upendra Yadav, on Tuesday alleged that conspiracies were being hatched to foil holding the Constituent Assembly (CA) election, RSS reports from Birgunj. "The CA election is inevitable to guarantee the rights of the Madheshi, Dalit, indigenous nationalities and other backward communities," he said while speaking at the inaugural function of the General Conference of Nepal National Betel Entrepreneurs' Association here today. He alleged that the major three political parties including the Madhesh-centric parties in the government just have the lust for power and that the environment for the CA election could not be ensured. Forming the Chief Justice (CJ)-led election government was not good from the point of view of the theory of separation of power, constitutional provisions, and the political transition, Forum Nepal Chairman Yadav said. Free and fair election government under former justice or independent person was the need of time, he added. Exit of current government and declaration of the fresh CA election was the alternative to end the existing constitutional and political crisis, said Chairman Yadav. nnnn
