FORMER INDIAN ARY CHIEF ARRRIVES Kathmandu, 8 March; Former Chief of the Indian Army General (rtd) Shankar Roy Chowdhury arrived here on Thursday to take part in the 'mahashivaratri and army day 2013' to be organised by the Nepali Army, RSS reports. General Roy Chowdhury was received at the Tribhuvan International Airport by Nepali Army Major General Mahesh Bikram Karki. Likewise, General Sunith Francis and General Deepak Kapoor of India are also arriving here to take part in the same programme, according to the Nepali Army Public Relations Directorate. nnnn . RAUTAHAT BUSINESSMAN JAYASAWAS FOUND DEAD Kathmandu, 8 March:: Entrepreneur Jagarnath Prasad Jayasawal, 55, of Gaur Municipality, was found dead, hanging with a small cord at Gupta Galla Bhandar (mill) in Rautahat on Wednesday night, The Himalayan Times reports from Rautahat.. The mill had started with the joint capital of three partners including Jayasawal. The partners are Raghu Nath Chaudary of Gaur and Sanjaya Gupta of Wairganiya, India. Both of them called him to the shop from his house to discuss business. They had a hot discussion, informed an eyewitness. Chaudhary and Gupta informed Jayasawal’s family members that he was drinking liquor. Jayasawal’s son Monaj said his father was found hanging on the veranda of his own mill at 11:00 pm after he went to search for his father. Monaj alleged that his father was killed and then hung on the veranda of the mill. “The feet were touching the floor and even the hands found support on the wall. Besides, the cord was also very short,” Monaj said, adding “The nature of the incident proves he was murdered.” Police cannot say anything as investigation is still on, said SP Gonvinda Pariyar. nnnn
