GOVT, PRIORITIZES ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS UPDATE Kathmandu, 19 March: At the first cabinet of a full and expanded cabinet Tuesday, chief of an interim election or government Khil Raj Regmi asked ministers, officials and others to prioritize second constituent assembly elections. The cabinet decided timely completion of projects. Nnnn UML DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE DIKTAT TO PARTY CHAIRMAN Kathmandu, 19 March: UML disciplinary committee chairman Amrit Bohara wrote to Chairman Jhalanath Khanal Tuesday expressing displeasure at the recommendation of a four power body to recommend name of Lplman Singh as chief of CIAA. The committee said former chief secretary was ‘disgraced’ and asked such mistake should not be repeated. Khanal represented the party at the body of four major forces. nnnn CPN MAOIST WORKERS VANDALIZE NCELL OFFICE AT NAYA BANESHWOR Kathmandu, 19 March: Workers of Ncell vandalized office equipment and a vhicle at the head office of the leading telecommunication company with foreign investment. They also demanded rollback of hiked public transport fares.
