GOVT.TALKS TEAM TO NEGOTIATE WITH OPPOSITION PARTIES Kathmandu, 29 March: A three-member talks team was formed by the cabinet Friday to hold talks with agitating political parties opposing elections and government before announcing final election date. Home Minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire, Minister for Information and Communication Madhav Prasad Paaudel and Minister for Healh Bidhyadhar Mallik are members of the talks team. Nnnn FORMER PRESDENT CARTER ARRIVES Kathandu, 29 March: Former US President Jimmy Carter arrived Friday for four-day visit.He’ll hold discussions with government and political party leaders when the peace rocess remains incomplete and constituent assembly elections are scheduled. Carter, who maintains a Carter Center in Nepal, will hold discussions with other sections of society and foreign diplomats/ man of the interim election government, ministers, party chiefs, senior government officials, political leaders, and civil society representatives. nnnn
