PARAS SHAH DISCHARGED FROM BANGKOK HOSPITAL
Kathmandu, 28 March: Former Crown Prince Paras Shah was discharged Thursday from a
Bangkok hospital where he was admitted for treatment 18 February following a
second heart attack.
He’ll continue to stay in the Thai capital for observation of doctors.
Former King Gyanendra and Former Crown Princess Himani are expected to
return home in a week.

CPN MAOIST OWORKERS ATTACK DISTRICT ELECTION OFFICE IN BAGLUNG
Kathmandu, 28 March: CPN Maoist workers Thursday caused damage to the
district election office in Baglung following at attack on the building.
The splinter group of UCPN Maoist is taking the lead in opposing a vote demanding the ouster of the Khil Raj Regmi government and its replacement by a national consensus government chosen in a roundtable conference.
Thirty-three parties Thursday held corner meetings in urban centers nationwide opposing a vote.

CHAIRMAN REGMI JAYANT PRASAD HOLD DISUSSIONS
Kathmand, 28 March: Khil Raj Regmi, chairman of the interim election council, a position equivalent to the prime minister, held discussions relation to second constituent assembly elections Thursday with Indian Ambassador Jayant Prasad.
Prasad assured assistance for the vote whose official date has yet to be fixed.
Election officials Thursday discussed the vote for the second assembly with
leaders of political parties.
