STUDENTS DISRUPT TRAFFIC DEMANDING ROLLBACK OF
INREASED PUBLIC TRANSPORT FARES
Kathmandu, 12 March: Eleven student unions have been disrupting
movement of traffic Wednesday in the capital and will lift it after four
hours demanding a rollback in increase of public transport fares slapped
Friday.
Students on the fourth day of their pressure campaign on government
have warned of more protests if old fares aren’t reintroduced.

SHANKATA LIFT BIRAT GOLD CUP
Kathmandu, 12 March: Shankata Tuesday lifted the Birat Gold Cup in
Biratnagar beating Armed Police Club 1-0 winning a knockout
tournament for the first time in 12 years..
Shankata collected a prixe money of Rs.325,000 and the runner0up
Rs.150,000.
Aba Norbert Cedric scored the goal in the 74th minute.
