Nnnn BOMB MAKER KILLED Kathmandu, 17 April: : A man died on the spot and another sustained serious injuries in the explosion that occurred in course of making explosives for killing fish at a house in Deukhuri in Dang district on Tuesday, RSS reports from Tulsipur, Dang.. The Area Police Office, Bhalubang stated that 12-year-old Bhupesh Chaudhary died on the spot and 14-year-old Narayan Chaudhary received serious injuries due to the explosion that occurred in course of making the 'bomb' for killing fish. The deceased is the son of Sabin Chaudhary of Lalmatiya VDC-2. Narayan who received serious injuries in the incident has been taken to Nepalgunj for treatment. The incident occurred at Sabin Chaudhary's house when the two boys were making a crude bomb for killing fish. Police said the explosion happened when the boys were stuffing matchsticks in a steel pipe. Although the student enrollment campaign has commenced throughout the country, it has not got off in Okhaldhunga district as most schools here are closed after many teachers and the top education officials are on leave. The school enrollment campaign and the literacy campaign have been stalled due to the closure of the schools and the absenteeism of teachers and the district education officials, according to the local guardians. The government has issued guidelines for the school enrollment campaign with the objective of enrolling children of school-going-age who are still out of school due to various reasons.
