71 FORMER MAOIST FIGHTERS WILL BE APPOINTED NA OFFICERS Kathmandu, 28 April: Nepal Army Sunday said 71 former Maoist Combatants undergoing training after joining the state army Will be appointed officers Additional 1373 former fighters will be appointed in other ranks. Directorate of Public Relations said seniority will be determined by a special committee headed by the government chief. The former Maoist combatants will take a bridging course before officially getting the ranks, A directorate with 35 percent former combatants and 65 percent Nepal Army personnel. will be led by Nepal Army Major General Ram Krishna Adhikari. nnnn
