CPN MAOIST TO CONTEST STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS Kathmandu, 10 April : CPN-Maoist, which is saying that it would boycott the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections, has however, directed its student wing to start preparations to win the forthcoming Free Students Union (FSU) elections, RSS reports. Chairman of the Maoist party, Mohan Baidya directed the office bearers and central members of the ANNISU- Revolutionary at Buddhanagar party office today for nationwide win in the FSU elections. Baidya called for preparing environment for winning all over the country with progressive educational agenda, said ANNISU-Revolutionary Secretary Ratna Dhakal. Party Vice Chairman CP Gajurel and General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa also took stock of the situation nationwide and directed for organizational expansion. The organization will give training to campus unit presidents for the election slated to be held on May 27 Nnnn PRACHANDA, BHATTARAI IN BAGLUNG Kathmandu, 10 April: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Prachanda and Senior Vice-chairman and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai are in the western hill district of Baglung. They are imparting political training to supporters as the party demands announcement of firm dates for second constituent assembly elections. Nnn
