FORMER KING RETURNS HOME SUNDAY FROM BANGKOK
Kathmandu, 20 April: Former King Gyanendra flies back from Bangkok
Sunday, Avenues Television reported Saturday.
He is returning after former Queen Komal and Crown Princess flew for the Thai capital Saturday.
Family members flew for Bankgok to be at his bedside in March after
Crown Prince Paras suffered a heart attack.
He’s now recovering at a resettlement home in the Thai capital.

53 PARTIES TO OPPOSE UPDATE OF VOTERS’LIST
Kathmandu, 20 April: Opposition ho claim they are 53 parties, including
CPB Maoist, Saturday decided to oppose attempts to update a voters; list
and distribute citizenship cards to conduct the second constituent assembly elections who dates haven’t been officially announced yet.
The yote is likely to be held in November.
The parties met Saturday and decided to submit a memorandum
Sunday to the election commission registering their opposition,
The parties decided to conduct d protest assemblies in Kathmandu
Valley and other urban centers 1 May to mark the International Labour Day.
The parties also decided to protest continued presence of an Indian
government office in Morang amid calls for its shutdown.
Protest letter is being delivered to the Indian embassy.
