KIDNAPPED BUSNESSMAN KUMAR AGRAWAL RESCUED WITHOUT RANSOM Kathmandu, 26 April: : Sleuths from Metropolitan Police Crime Division today [Thursday rescued Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, a Kathmandu-based businessman, who was kidnapped for ransom a few days ago, sources said, according to The Himalayan Times.. He was rescued from a house in Kirtipur leading to the arrest of three abductors. Some others, including a woman, are said to be at large. MPCD was inching closer to resolve the case, sources said without disclosing further details. He was abducted from Kalanki. The abductors had demanded a ransom of Rs 20 million for his release. MPCD, however, successfully secured his release unhurt before the gang received the ransom amount. Agrawal operates a zinc sheet industry and many other businesses related to production of construction materials. nnnn
