PRACHANDA IN KUNMING Kathmandu, 16 April: Maoist Chairman Prachanda Monday interacts with academics and students at Szechwan University in central China Monday. He was welcomed by a five-member team of top party officials of the Communist Party of Chinalooking after the foreign department when he arrive in Kunming on the first day of a week-long China visit Sunday evening. Ptachanda will hold talks Wednesday and Thursday- the first South Asian leader to conduct talks with the new elected leadership of China in Beijing. Talks are scheduled with President Xi Jinping Pjng and Premier Li Keqiang and other top party and government officials. The talks come soon after installment of the new leadership.
