PRESIDENT OFFERS PUJ A AT JANAKI MANDIR Kathmandu, 25 April: President Ram Baran Yadav worship ped at the religious and historical Janaki Temple in Janakpur on Thursday morning, RSS reports from Janakpurdham.. Mahantha of the temple, Ram Tapeshwor Das Baisnab, welcomed President Yadav at the temple. The President had reached the temple at 9:00 am. Yadav, who was there for half an hour, inspected the cultural museum and Janaki Electronic Film Hall at the premises of the temple. President Yadav in course of inspection, directed Mahantha Das to protect the historical and cultural heritages and added that he will try his best to support on his behalf for the same. The president, who arrived in his home village, Sapahi of Dhanusha district on Monday, will return to Kathmandu today, according to security source. Nnnn PRIVATE SCHOOLS CLOSE DOWN IN JHAPA Kathmandu, 25 April: Almost all private schools operating in Jhapa district remained closed on Thursday due to strike enforced by ANNISU-R demanding for an unconditional release of its district vice-chairperson Dadhi Dhimal, RSS reports from Jhapa.. The student organization has announced shutdown for today after its leader Dhimal was arrested on Wednesday under public offense for allegedly involved in vandalizing Emerald Academy, college bus, computer, telephone and other physical properties. Issuing a press release issued on Thursday, Revolutionary District Chairperson Khagendra Subedi demanded to withdraw a fake case which was filed to frame innocent cadres in serious crime nnnn
