REGMI, PRACHANDA MEET AMID MAOIST DISSATISFACTION WITH GOVT. Kathmandu, 3 April: Khil Raj Regmi, chairman of the interim election council, held discussions with Maoist Chairman Prachanda at Baluwatar Wednesday morning. Prachanda is also chairman of a high-level political mechanism ‘syndicate” four parties that appointed the Regmi government and regularly issues directives to it.for which opposition has called a administration in Singha Debar a government run by remote control. UCPN Maoist is now unhappy with the Regmi government and is pressing it to announce firm date for assembly election in June arguing publicly an election wave is sweeping the country in its favour. Two other bid parties—NC and UML—also claim a wave in their favour. nnnn
