UML ASKS DEFECTORS TO RETURN ‘ HOME’ Kathmandu, 8 April: UML has asked defectors or those who have remained inactive to return ‘home’ in an appeal issued by General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel Monday. The appeal comes immediately after two senior leaders joined UCPN Maoist. PROTESTS Kathmandu, 8 April: Thirty-three parties, including CPN Maoist, Monday announced third phase of their anti government and anti- election programme following a meeting to plan protest programmes. Interactions, seminars, public meetings and other programmes have been readied. Coordination committees at grassroot level are being formed to manage swelling opposition.. A committee s also being formed to manage a people’s movement.
