During the meeting held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, today, Koirala urged President Yadav to help regarding the declaration of date of the election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) immediately by bringing the political parties, which are against the CA election, into consensus. The meeting between the President and Koirala is seen with importance at a time when Chairman of the UCPN-Maoist, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, is in India visit. President Yadav and Koirala held discussion for about one hour on contemporary political issues of the country, Koirala's aide Laxman Dhakal told to RSS. Koirala is also the coordinator of the High-level Political Committee (HLPC). nnnn NEW POLICE CHIEF FOR CAPITAL Kathmandu, 29 April: SSP Subodh Ghimire has been appointed chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range (MPR), Hanuman Dhoka. Ghimere, was transferred from the special bureau at Nepal Police Headquarters, Naxal and replaces Rana Bahadur Chand who has been transferred to Drug Control Law Enforcement Unit, New Baneshwor.
