Issuing a press statement today, government spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications, Madhav Prasad Paudel, has said the government's attention was drawn towards the Nepal bandh announced by the front of some political parties for Sunday. "Solution to every problem can be sought through talks and negotiations,” states the press release. The government has geared up for the completion of the fresh Constituent Assembly election as quickly as possible and every problem can be resolved through talks and dialogue, and a door for that was always open", the statement added. It may be noted that thirty-three political parties including the CPN-Maoist who are against the election have announced the Nepal bandh (countrywide general strike) tomorrow. RETURNS HOME Kathmandu, 6 April: The South African presidency says former President Nelson Mandela has been discharged from a hospital after an improvement in his condition, AP reports from Johannesburg. . A statement from the office of President Jacob Zuma says 94-year-old Mandela was discharged on Saturday and will now receive care at his home. Officials say he was treated for pneumonia. Mandela was admitted to a hospital in the South African capital of Pretoria on the night of March 27. It was his third trip to a hospital since December.
