ARMY FIRST INVOLVEMENT IN EVEREST CLEAN-UP Kathmandu, 27 May: Nepal Army was involved for the first time this spring in an Everest clean-up campaign, an official announcement said. Besides climbing the 8848 meters high Mount Everest with an Indian Army team, the expedition collected 4010kg garbage from the peak. It was handed over Monday to an Everest clean-up office at Namche at the foot of the peak Monday.
