HEARING OF APPOINTMENT OF LOKMAN SINGH KARKI DEFERRED Kathmandu, 27 May: A hearing Sunday at division bench of the supreme court on a writ challenging the appointment of Lokman Singh Karki as CIAA chief has been deferred until 4 June. Advocate Om Prakash Aryal moved the court seeking to annul Karki’s appointment. .President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav appointed Karki on the recommendation of the constitutional council that appoints chiefs of constitutional bodies.
