NEPAL, SP TALKS Kathmandu, 18 May: Sadbhawana Party (SP) and government are holding talks in the capital Saturday to discuss 10 demands. Party leaders are on a death fast. Government has invited the party for talks. Nnnn POLL DATE IN TWO DAYS SAYS MAOIST LEADER MAHARA Kathmandu, 18 May UCPN (Maoist) leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the Constituent Assembly (CA) polls date would be announced within one/two days, RSS re[prts from Gaighay.. At a news conference organized by the Revolutionary Journalists Association in Udayapur on Saturday, Mahara said major four political parties and the government were in talks regarding the polls date announcement. On the occasion, the UCPN (Maoist) leader said that the CA elections would be held at any cost, as dissenting 11 political parties except the CPN-Maoist were preparing to take part in the elections. Some elections were trying to foil the upcoming CA polls by raising the issue of appointment of Lok Man Singh Karki as the chief of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Mahara claimed. nnnn
