SUSHIL KOIRALA CHINESE AMBASSADOR MEET Kathmandu, 22 May: NC President and Chinese Ambassador Wu Chuntai held discussions Wednesday morning on current issues. Proposed constituent assembly elections were discussed. Koirala told the ambassador discussions for a vote were being held with other parties. The NC boss has proposed expansion of the four-party high-level political mechanism to include CPN Maoist and MJFN of Upendra Yadav to create an environment for a vote. Four hundred vehicles are stranded on Mahendra highway In the district where protests against the murder are swelling. Haq’s supporters are demanding inclusion of a Muslim in a three-member probe body headed by a senior police officer. The former lawmaker’s body has been taken to a Dharam hospital for postmortem.
