VDC SECRETARIES STOP DISTRIBUTION OF CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATES Kathmandu, 26 Mary: Nearly 4,0000 VDC secretaries since Sunday have disrupted distribution of certificated nation-wide, Arjun Subedi Naharik reports. The development comes as the home ministry has intensified efforts at citizenship certificates and election commission is updating voters’ list for constituent assembly elections. Secretaries went on strike after home ministry against secretaries alleging secretaries distributed certificates by presenting forged documents. Appeals have been made to to ministers to stop the action. nnnn
