33 PARTIES OPPOSE ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT Kathmandu, 14 June; Thirty-three held protests in the capital Friday opposing the unilateral announcement of election 19 November by government. CPB Maoist Vice-chairman CP Gajurel said thedate was announcedunder foreign pressure and it will be opposed. He recalled the parties had asked government not to announce election date unilaterally.
