ACCIDENTS KILL ONE, INJURE FOUR
Kathmandu, 27 June:: A person died in a road accident at Nijgadh in Bara district along the East-West Highway on Thursday morning, RSS reports from Birgunj/.
The deceased is identified as Raj Kumar Ghising (35) of Barahathawa-4 in Sarlahi district.
The accident took place when a truck (Na 4 Kha 4236) heading towards Dharan from Chitwan hit a motorcycle (Na 24 Pa 486) heading towards Barahathawa from Hetauda, according to the Area Police office, Nijgadh.
Ghising, the motorcyclist, died on the spot in the accident.
The pillion rider Khilnath Dahal (32) of Paurahi of Rautahat was critically injured in the accident. Dahal is undergoing treatment at National Medical College, Birgunj.
According to the Hospital, his condition is critical.

TRAFFIC ON PRITHVI HIGHWAY OBSTRUCTED
Kathmandu, 27 June:: Kotre section of the Prithvi Highway has remained closed since 1:00pm today [Thursday] as relatives and neighbours of a girl who died in a road accident yesterday have blocked section, RSS reports from Tanahu..
The protestors have demanded compensation for the family of the deceased and action against the bus driver that hit the girl.
Pratikshya Kayastha (18) of Pokhara-3 had died in the accident while her sister sustained serious injuries. They were on the scooter. A passenger bus (Na.4 Kha. 7437) hit the scooter coming from the opposite direction at Ghansikunwa-8 of Tanahu on Wednesday afternoon.
Talks with the agitating side are underway in presence of the bus entrepreneur, said DSP Lal Bahadur Sonam.
The bus driver is under police custody.

FNCCI, LCCI SIGN AGREEMENT
Kathmandu, 27 June: FNCCI and London Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (LCCI) have signed an agreement to share information
on possible sectors for the investment and trade.
Director General Dr Hemanta Dawadi of FNCCI and LCCI Deputy
Chief Executive Peter Bishop signed the agreement.
