BISHWABANDU THAPA JOINS RPP-NEPAL Kathmandu, 3 June: Bishwabandhu Thapa Monday entered RPP-Nepal led by Kamal Thapa. Thapa quit RPP now led by Surya Bahatur Thapa previously of Rashtrioya Janashakti Party. The party was previously led by Pashupati Shumshere JB Rana. The united party had adopted a republican agenda. RPP-Nepal espouses constitutional monarchy and a Hindu state. Nnnn GPG DEALERS CALL OFF THREATENED STRIKE Kathmandu, 3 June: Government and LPG dealers reached a 12-point agreement Monday. They agreed to distribute gasin red and blue cylinders from 15 Inme—for industry and domestic use. A threatened strike by dealers was withdrawn. Distributors had been demanding increased commission. nnnn
