TALKS FOR ASEMBLY ELECTION UPDATE
Kathmandu, 13 June; Chairman of Interim Election Council Khil Raj
Regmi held discussions with Chief Election Commissioner Neelkantha
Thursday before a crucial meeting of the cabinet to endorse an election
ordinance and announce dates for second constituent assembly elections
sometime in November/ December.
Uprety meets Regmi before flying for India to procure logistics for a vote which India is pushing while assuring logistic support as well.
Meanwhile, the board of the commission Wednesday decided to conduct mock polls Sunday in 16 hill, mountain and terai districts.

ASIM GHIMEHE OF BIRTAMODH SCHOOL IN JHAPA TOPS SLC EXAMS
Kathmandu, 13 June: Asim Ghimere of Little Flowers English Boarding Secondary School in Birtamodh, Jhapa, topped this year’s SLC examinations securing
93.87 percent marks, the school claimed.
Without official percentages announced by Office of the Controller of
Examinations, speculation mounts with the result announcement every year.
Prasanna Nepal of Little Angels School ,of Lalitpur and Sharu Shrestha
of Gladstone Academy Bhaktapur earlier claimed they topped the boys’ and girls sections.
