DEUBA’S PROOF NEPALIS AREN’T ANTI-INDIAN
Kathmandu, 15 June: Former Prime Minister and NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba who returned home Friday after completing a five0day India visit at
Government of India invitation denied there’s an anti-Indian feeling in
Nepal.
He said this in reply to a question to a question at a news conference in
New Delhi this week.
He gave an example and said he stays at home as his wife, Dr. Arjoo,
goes to watch every Indian movie that’s released in town, according to an online edition of a Kathmandu newspaper.
But the comment never appeared in the print editions.

RPP, RPP-NEPL WELCOME ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT
Kathmandu, 15 June: RPP welcomed an election announcement.
New Chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa said in a statement
the vote compulsory and unavoidable to promulgate new constitution
to end the prolonged transition,
RPP-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa also welcomed election in Jhaoa Friday.
But he said the vote won’t be free and fair without the disbandment of the
four-party syndicate.
