MAOIST CHIEF SAYS PARTY WILL GET TWO—THIRD MAHORITY Kathmandu, 12 June:: Chairman of the UCPN-Maoist, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has claimed that his party would bring two-third majority in the election to the next Constituent Assembly (CA), RSS report from Biratnagar. Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, Dahal said that people will make the UCPN-Maoist victorious with the two-third majority as the party would draft the constitution, which addresses demands of the people of Madhes, various ethnic groups, Dalits, backward classes and women. He also informed that there would be collaboration among the parties that are in favour of federalism, in CA election. Responding to a query, Dahal said the CA election would be held within third week of November at any cost as constitution is what the Nepali people want. Stating that CA election would not be distracted even if any particular party does not want election, he expressed the belief that the CPN-Maoist would also participate in the next CA election. The Maoist boss said the government would declare the date for CA election as the government, major political parties and people are serious for the CA election. He said the government would form a Constituency Delineation Commission soon after the issuing of the election laws, and added that names have already been recommended for the same. nnnn
