MAY TOURIST ARRIVALS UP Kathmandu, 3 June: Altogether 44,156 tourists visited Nepal in May—up 3.1 percent compared to the same month the previous year, TIA Immigration Office said. Arrivals from China increased 43.6 percent. But arrivals from South Asia showed negative growth. Indian arrivals fell 9.5 percent. Arrivals from Europe also fell 3.3 percent. But visitors from USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand increased. nnnn
