TEACHER SENTENCED FOR UNNATURAL SEX Kathmandu, 21 June: The District Court, Sindhupalchowk has sentenced 11 years in prison and Rs. 50, 000 in fines to a teacher who committed unnatural sex on his own Students, RSS reports from Chautara.. The single bench of District Judge Anantaraj Dumre made the verdict on teacher Narayan Shrestha of Janajagriti Secondary School at Sangachowk VDC for his crime. Shrestha was charged of the act on six girls aged from 9- to 11 alluring them of higher marks while taking tuition. Three girls among them had filed cases. The crime came to light only after eight months and case was filed on the cooperation of the Village Child Protection Committee and Paralegal Committee on Kattik 24, 2068 BS. The punishment was given as per the Article 3 of the Rape chapter of the Civil Code. nnnn
