UML YOUTH LEADER BASNET JAILED Kathmandu, 10 June: UML youth leader Parshuram Basnet was sent to Central Jail Monday by a special court after he failed to furnish a Rs. Rs 20 million bail. Wife Anju Singh Basnet was released on general date. Department of Money Laundering Investigation filed charge against Basnet h 18 May for possessing unaccounted wealth. The anti-money laundering department also filed charges against Ganesh Lama, Deepak Manange, Abhishek Giri, and Chakre Milan.
