SINGHA DURBAR BASEMENT FLOODED

Kathmandu, 30 July: Basement rooms of SIngha Durbar were flooded by rain water Tuesday following heavy rain.
Documents were damaged in basement offices, icluding office of the prime minister.
Water was being pumped out.

POLLS CAN’T BE DISRUPTED SAYS UCPN MAOIST LEADER

Kathmandu, 30 July: Leader of the Unified CPN-Maoist, Dina Nath Sharma, has said that Nepali people themselves would give fitting treatment to those opposing the
election process, RSS reports from Birgunj..

Speaking at a press conference organised by the Federation of Revolutionary Journalists here today, he said, "No power can disrupt the Constituent Assembly (CA) election as it is going to be held as per the desire of Nepali people''

He further said, "Hands of collaboration had been extended to the poll opposing parties including the CPN-Maoist, even then if they do not join the election process, Nepali people will boycott them."

He claimed that the people have full trust on the Unified CPN-Maoist party, so his party would get majority in the upcoming election to institutionalise the political changes.
