GOLD GAINS RS. 1000 PER TOLA

Kathmandu, 9 July: Gold gained Rs.1000 per tola Tuesday.
The precious metal was trading at Rs. 49,850 per tola.
Silver price fell Rs. 14 tola  amd was rading at Rs. 820
per tola.

JHAPA ROAD OBSTRUCTED

Kathmandu, 9 July: The Lakhanpur road section along the East-West Highway has been disrupted due to incessant rainfall and floods since this morning, RSS reports from Damak..

The road section has remained disrupted after the diversion built nearby under-construction Bridge over the Geuriya River got crumbled. The increasing level of water in the river had caused damage to the diversion road, said police.

All the short-and-long route vehicles have been stranded on the road after the damage caused to diversion road, said Rajan Adhikari, DSP at the Area Police Office.

The patients have been hit hard due to disruption. It is noted that the regular classes at school and college are disturbed in the area due to disturbance in transportation.
