UPDATE HLPC TO HOLD TALKS WITH OPPOSITION FOR ELECTIONS

Kathmandu, 6 July: The HLPC Saturday invited CPN-Maoist to join the peace process even after its formal decision to boycott the 19 November vote.
The meeting of UCPN Maoist, NC, UML and Madesh Morcha decided to
hold talks with the party as in two previous meetings adopting maximum flexibility.

CALL FOR HLPM DISSOLUTION WHICH IS A HURDLE SAYS KAMAL THAPA

Kathmandu, 6 July: RPP Nepal Chairman Kamal Kamal Thapa Saturday
renewed called for the dissolution of the HLPM for free and fair elections.
Thapa said this at a meeting of the Reporters Club in the capital.
He said “fifty per cent poll environment will be automatically created’ with the dissolution of the body of the bug Three and Madeshbadi parties.

Thapa charged actions of four parties have forced opposition to come out
on the street.
