NC TRAINING CAMP CONCLUDES

Kathmandu, 29 July;  A three-day camp for NC workers concluded in the
capital Monday.
Nearly 300 trained activists in party policy and programmes will fan
out to 240 electoral districts and work until the 19 November elections.

GOVT. DECIDES TO BUILD DRY PORT

Kathmandu, 29 July: Government has  decided in principle to build a
dry port ad an exhibition hall of  international standard in the Valley.
A decision was taken Sunday.
Land is being sough for the project..

ROAD TO TIBET CLOSED FOR THIRD DAY

Kathmandu, 29 July: The road to Tibet along Arbiko Highway was closed
for the third consecutive day Monday.
A container driver operating on the highway was arrested for allegedly
smuggling elephant tusk between Nepal and Tibet.
Protestors are demanding his release while denying the charge.
