CPN MAOIST CONVENES MEETING  OF BUREAU CHIEFS

Kathmandu, 2 July: UCPN  Maoist has convened a meeting of

Chiefs of  bureaus and organization chiefs Tuesday.

Their viewed will be collected at t meeting to be attended by Chairman Prachanda.

The party is preparing for a plenary session in the middle of the month to

discuss power rivalry ro fill party positions.

The party is going for elections after recommendations of the party boss to appoint representatives were challenged.

Vice-chairman Baburam Bhattarai resigned from all party positions .

ARMY CHIEF IN FLOOD AND LANDSLIDE HIT DISTRICTS

Kathmandu, 2 July: Army Chief Gen. Gaurav SJB Rana iss visiting the floot and landslide hit districtsof the far-West.

He was in Darchula and inspected a barrack at headquarters Khalangha

Monday.

He also  inspected the  far-West Division Headquarters in Kanchanpur before flying back to the capital.

PRABHU GROUP PROMOTING KATHMANDU-HETAUDATUNNEL

Kathmandu, 2 July: Prabhu Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoI) with Nepal Purbadhar Bikash Co.Ltd. (NPBCL) Monday to channel

Rs.1 billion investments by Nepali migrant in Kathmandu-Hetauda

Tunnel Highway.

NPBCL is promoting the project.

Rs,10,000 in the minimum investment.
